![]() Is a Babolat Aero Pro cortex tour a good racket for a 12 year old who plays in a lot of tournaments. ? Should he string it at 56,for the tension? And is pro hurricane and prince synthetic gut 16g good for the racket If he plays in a lot of tournaments then this racquet is perfect for his competitive level. Tension 56 is good depending on if that was the tension of his old racquet? Whatever tension he had on his old racquet, increase it 2 pounds more because higher tensions provide more Control. I loved this racquet so much that I bought three of them all at tension 62 with the Pro Hurricane Tour strings, so it looks basically like the exact replica of mine. I don't know what the Prince Synthetic would do but the Pro Hurricane should be a nice fit for this kind of racquet because it provides spin with even more spin. Pros: -- Very head light to provide pinpoint accuracy and manuevibility Cons: -- Lacks power (lowering tension helps increase it, 56 will help) So overall, this racquet is recommended to any advanced players. I always see people complaining about this racquet because it doesn't give any power but it's mainly because they use racquets that provide the power for them that they don't need to supply. Since he is 12, I recommend you demo this for your son, but if he is very experienced, I'm sure he is strong enough to take advantage the full potential of this racquet. This is overall the racquet I recommend to all my friends over another great racquet, the KSix-One. |
