Tennis String suggestions? (Speedport tour question too)?

I have a Prince Speedport Tour with the hole inserts. Currently using Babolat VS Team Natural Gut for crosses and Pro Hurricane for the mains at 57.

The new Prince Speedports are great racquets! I'm a USPTA teaching pro and I play with the Speedport Tour but feed balls with the Speedport Black.

I have found that the racquets respond really well with the port inserts at 12, 9, and 3 and the hole inserts at 6. I've tried other formations as well, but I prefer the port inserts. They create a larger sweet spot with a lot of forgiveness if you don't hit the middle of the string bed every time, as well as a softer feel with more dampening. The string hole inserts create a firmer feel. It is something you should play around with though. You may find you like a certain combination the best.

As far as string, you are using a good combination, but you should try the Prince series of strings. For a standard syn gut, Prince Syn Gut with Duraflex is great and affordable. You can also try the ProBlend with Duraflex which would give you a poly for the mains and a softer syn gut for the crosses. Personally, I like blending in the Prince Lightning XX because it gives a little more power and grip on the ball. I use Syn Gut w/ Duraflex in the mains (16g) and Lightning XX (17g) in the crosses. However, again, this is something you should play around with yourself. There are some great strings out there.
