im looking at three tennis rackets at the moment. they are all babolat. the aero storm, aero strike or the pure storm. if you use any of these rackets could you tell me the good things and the bad things about these rackets so i can make my decision on which one i want to buy. im 13 years old and im more of an all around player. thanks
The Aero Storm (Regular and Tour) is a racquet with really good spin and provides more control than the Aero ProDrive. The Aero Storm= A mix of AeroPro Drive (the throat part of the racquet)+Pure Storm(the head shape of the PureStorm). It is a pretty good racquet. It is good for a hardcore baseliner who uses alot of topspin and has a long swing.
The Aero Strike is a very very very light racquet. I would not recommend this racquet...not even to a 13 year old who is weak (not saying you are), it will force you to swing violently to make hard shots(kids love hitting hard...I do too ) and it will give you bad habits that will be hard to break (trust me, I tutor a kid with a super light racquet and he has so many bad habits because of it)
The Pure Storm Lmtd GT is amazing. It is solid, has good control, has a buttery feel (easy to swing) and has good spin and power. It is great for baseliners and good for net play (because of it's great stability).
Out of these three I recommend the Pure Storm Lmtd GT. I recommended it to one of my 14 year old students who has played since the age of nine and he loved it.
Hope this helps.
