Secondary/backup tennis racquet: Different or the same? Suggestions?
Should a secondary tennis racquet be the same or a different racquet?
Same: So if you break your strings in the middle of a game, you could switch racquets and continue with little or no adjustment time.
Different: If your not playing good with the power racquet at the moment, you can switch the the control racquet.
Please answer that question first and support your answer with a racquet suggestion. I play currently with an aeropro drive (power racquet), but im thinking about getting a babolat pure drive (relatively the same, power racquet) or a Wilson [K] Factor six-one tour (completly different, but a control racquet) as a secondary racquet.

I use two of the same racket. Most people on varsity have two or three of the same one. The thing is, you get more used to a racket after a long period of playing with it. If your string breaks during a match, you need to have a racket you are accustomed to, or else it will hinder your game. Playing with a different racket usually makes it worse.
If you are doing well with the AeroPro Drive, then just stick with it. The rackets you are looking at are both a lot different from the APD, even if it may not seem like it. I would not recommend either for you. They are kind of bad rackets. Switching off between rackets is not a very good idea. I barely made it in varsity as a freshman, because I did not have my own standard racket and just kept using my multiple rackets and my friends' rackets.
