Every tennis player has different needs and abilities. I am a 64 year old 3.0 USTA rated tennis player who loved my 8 year old 2.6 wilson roller tennis racket. I practice with the senior 3.5 USTA club team because my club has no 3.0 team. To my dismay after 8 years of returning the big fast hard serves, my racket develeped a crack at the top of the frame. When I tried to replace it , I was told the wilson roller was discontinued about 8 years ago. I went through the process of demo-ing several different rackets and after a month of fustration, I tried the K factor. I found it had less power than my former racket but much more control. So I now play with my new K factor tennis racket. I string the racket in the middle of the tension to increase the power. The control is most important on return of hard fast serves. (PS the 3.5 club team went to the USTA finals in california and came in second losing by one court).
